Newmark Knight Frank Retail has arranged the sale of the restaurant space at 2911 Broadway, which has been home to long-time Columbia University staple, The West End.
Havana Central, a Cuban-themed restaurant chain, will now occupy the space.
Located between 113th and 114th Streets, the space consists of 4,600 s/f on the ground floor, a 2,800 s/f basement and catering room, plus a 600 s/f outdoor card area.
Stu Morden, managing director, and Ross Kaplan, associate, at Newmark Knight Frank, represented
The West End, while Jason Pennington of Butler Kane represented Havana Central. "The West End has been a favorite among the neighboring Columbia University students for generations, becoming an institution among its patrons," said Morden.
"Havana Central, which has two other New York City locations, plans to keep that tradition alive." |
